Fresh ciders are a festive fall favorite, and OGC has a variety to satisfy thirsty shoppers.

Gary and Judy Gottschalk have been growing apples and pears for cider near White Salmon, WA for almost 30 years. Gary uses different combinations of fruit to produce exceptional flavor, and the cider’s flavor shifts throughout the season as different varieties ripen in the orchard. In addition to apple cider, their pear-apple cider is made up of two-thirds Bartlett pear juice blended with apple, giving it a distinct pear forward flavor. Each bottle, made with pure juice and without additives or preservatives, is flash pasteurized, giving it a month-long refrigerator shelf life.

In the nick of time for celebratory meals, the Gottschalks expect to start bottling their sparkling ciders by the end of next week. The shelf stable sparkling apple cider has a faint pink color from fresh Cosmic Crisp apples, while the sparkling pear variety features their favorite Concorde pears and a caramel hue. Both are tasty non-alcoholic offerings that are sure to delight everyone at the table.

For cider lovers that can’t get enough, Columbia Gorge Organic gallons are in stock and ready for sipping. Blended from over twenty varieties of apples throughout the season from CoGo’s Hood River, OR orchards, this cider is the perfect option for fall parties and gatherings.

Whether warmed and spiced or straight from the fridge, fresh cider is a seasonal crowd pleaser and sales are a sure bet. Ask your Rep about bringing in a range of festive options.
